Donald Mooers
Founder & Managing Partner

Mr. Mooers is a recognized expert in immigration and nationality law. He has helped clients achieve success in all aspects of employment-based and family-related immigration law and complex naturalization and citizenship matters. He advises and represents clients on immigration matters before the Departments of Labor, Homeland Security and State. He is a popular speaker and frequently provides expert advice on immigration law and policy for Congress, media outlets and national organizations.

Mr. Mooers brings to his work a unique combination of expertise in immigration law and a deep understanding of global affairs and U.S. Government operations. Mr. Mooers served as a key Congressional staff member, a senior official at the U.S. Department of State and the Peace Corps. He has directed international development programs, negotiated international agreements and advised government leaders and international organizations in 92 countries around the world.

Martha Absher
Attorney
Ms. Absher’s practice focuses primarily on employment-based immigration and naturalization matters. Her background in corporate law, financial regulation and government enforcement contribute significantly to Mooers Immigration’s ability to serve international and U.S. based clients facing employment and corporate immigration issues. She has successfully advised clients in matters involving the Department of Labor, Homeland Security and State. Ms. Absher’s practice also includes family-based immigration matters.

Elizabeth Williams
Office Administrator
Ms. Williams utilizes more than 18 years of experience in business, personnel and law firm management. At Mooers Immigration, she oversees all aspects of office administration, case management and billing. Prior to joining Mooers Immigration, Ms. Williams served as Chief Technology Officer for a technology-driven employee-benefits brokerage firm and as Director of Information Systems for a large law firm. She also has significant experience as a Management Consultant, specializing in law firm and corporate law department management.

Intake Specialist/Receptionist
Ms. Prieto is the first voice most people hear when they call our office. In addition to providing general case support to our attorneys, she provides translation assistance and serves as a resource to our clients.
